Rivlan
Rivlan was founded in 1999 as an RF/ Analog IC design-house. The company
has steadily grown its revenue by providing customers with turnkey analog and
RF IC solulions. Rivian designs into variety of CMOS, Si-Ge BiCMOS, BiCMOS
and bipolar processes using customized mainstream EDA simulation
and layout tools. The company currently has four employees.
Representative projects completed include a Si-Ge BiCMOS AGC-less IP-strip,
BiCMOS IF- filters for GPS low-IP receiver, CMOS W-CDMA IP-channel, bipolar
GPS receiver, and a Si-Ce BiCMOS RF front-end for a PCS/AMFS handset re-
ceiver, among many others. The company has provided its services to numerous
US, Japanese and European customers such as: STMicroelectronics, Honeywell,
Sharp, Lucern, Parthus. PDF Solutions, and WJ Communications.
Rivian has previously tried to rise funding for a standard product offering; how-
ever, it was unsuccessful. The company is now trying to build its IC design ser-
vices business by raising minimal capital to expand its team. With a team in
place, the company's long term vision is to enter the standard products arena.
