Adam S. Vishinsky, Ph. D., has over 30 years experience in all aspects of analog, RF and mixed-mode circuit and system design as well as project and design-team management. In 1999 he founded Rivlan, Inc., where he serves as President. By successfully marketing company’s consulting services domestically and internationally with US, Japanese and European customers such as: Texas Instruments, STMicroelectronics, MediaTek, Honeywell, Sharp, Lucent, Ceva, PDF Solutions, WJ Communications he has steadily grown its revenue providing customers with turnkey solutions starting from the system specification, through the block level design down to transistor level implementation, physical design and verification.
Prior to Rivlan, in 1996, together with seven other engineers he co-founded Microtune, Inc. as a spin-off from Cirrus Logic. Acting as Project Manager he was responsible for monolithic realization of the industry’s first monolithic TV-tuner. He supervised a team of 12 design-engineers and support personnel. Microtune had a successful IPO in 2000.
Prior to Microtune, in 1995 he joined Cirrus Logic where he worked as Staff Design Engineer for an experimental new product development group tasked to develop the industry-first monolithic TV tuner.
Prior to Cirrus Logic he worked for Texas Instruments in Dallas as IC Design Engineer for Hard Disk-Drive Group, where he was involved with the design of analog circuits for HDD channel and digital-video satellite receiver.
Prior to TI he worked as electrical and software design engineer for several US and European companies.
Dr. Vishinsky is Senior Member of IEEE. His other professional affiliations include Startech Early Ventures Foundation, where in 2002 and 2003 he served as Mentor Advisor and IEEE Dallas Consultants’ Network, where in 2001 and 2002 he served as Vice-Chairperson. He is listed in United Who's Who - directory of business leaders and professionals.He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Portland State University in 1998, his MSEE from Warsaw University of Technology in Poland in 1977 and his Executive MBA from University of Texas at Dallas in 2003. He authored over 20 papers in professional journals and international conferences and holds 9 patents with 1 patent pending.
